I have typed up the 'Alex James is unwell...' column from Q of December. Alex now contributes monthly to the magazine.

'No Distance Left To Run' has dropped to number 42 in the UK singles chart this week.

'No Distance Left To Run' will be released on DVD in December. The DVD will contain the video, interviews with the members, the making of the video and also interviews with Alex and Dave on the forthcoming Beagle 2 project. A live CD of 13 wil be released next year.

Damon appeared at the MTV Europe Awards presenting an award, and him and Alex also went on stage to collect their award for Best video for 'Coffee + TV.' Damon sported his new shaved head and Alex was looking drunk and scruffy. Damon said, 'This was completely unexpected. We were just sitting at the back, having a good laugh taking the piss out of everyone.'

Blur have won the Q Awards for 'Best Band in the world today.'

Blur's South Bank concert will be on ITV on the 21st.

Blur have been nominated for 3 awards this year in the Q Awards. They are: Best single, Tender; Best album, 13; and best band.

Damon may be appearing in the MTV Europe Awards.

'No Distance Left to Run' will be released on November 8th. CD1 has a Cornelius remix of Tender, CD2 has an UNKLE remix of Battle. The video will be shot in homes of Blur members. while they're sleeping.
