Isabel Cortés was a potental slayer during World War 11. She hailed from Barcelona,Spain and lived in the gothic quarter with her unnamed watcher. When the attacks on the slayers-in-waiting began in 1940, Isabel's watcher was put on alert. Shortly after, he was killed and she was shipped off to London to be guarded by the Council along with the other surviving potentals. Isabel didn't speak alot of english thus, creating a language barrier. On September 7, 1940 the demon Skrymir attacked the headquarters. Sometime in the fray, Isabel became the new slayer. She hadn't received much training at the time of her calling. She managed to cleave away at Skrymir, appearing to be the victor. But, she was blind-sided and the other potentals tried to warn her but he was to fast. Skrymir shattered both of her wrist bones, reducing them to powder. Isabel began to scream but she was quickly silenced when Skrymir ripped her throat out. She had only been active for a few minutes. |
