Britta Kessler was born in the year 1906. her parents were Herr and Frau Kessler. She had a 3 younger brothers and a younger sister. Her father served in World War 1 and after it's end, he brought back a man whom he had become close to. His name was Friederich Lichtermann, a watcher, whom Herr Kessler hired to be Britta's tutor. He realized her status as a potential and began training her in 1921, teatching her how to use every weapon in the world and taught her every chinese fighting style. By age 17, Britta's watcher believed she wouldn't ever be called as slayer. Then, on November 8,1923 a telegram arrived at the Kessler house informing Lichtermann of her new position as slayer. Britta was overwhelmed, excited and scared but embraced her new role in life with pride. That day at training, she asked Friederich to promise that he would not let her die alone.
The next day, on November 9, Britta was invited to the premiere of a new movie and to watch the filming of the last scene at a mansion owned by Herr Sahr. As it turned out, he was a vampire who locked everyone in and filmed the last shot of their movie. Britta managed to get everyone out of the house, but was surrounded by 12 vampires. Lichtermann fled with the people, leaving Britta there alone crying and screaming, and breaking his promise to her. Britta was turned. Lichtermann went to her crypt and was locked in there by Sahr. For sheer fun, the vamps set up cameras in the crypt and watched the watcher duke it out with his undead slayer.
