Alysa Maverick's past is her own, and only hers to know. She often speaks of "him," but never says who "he" is. How Allie learned she could channel, where she grew up, and what made her dislike Aes Sedai are all questions without answers. Those answers, however, are highly sought after by many people. Even her age is unknown, though her eyes belie wiseness that her face and body do not show.
She is bluntly honest, to many people's surprise. She dislikes skating around the truth and will tell it like it is if she feels the person deserves to know.
Her smiles rarely reach her eyes, unless, of course, if it's a mischievous smile. Her temper is always simmering and is quite easy to make boil over. You do not want to make her truly angry, though, for she is a horrible person to have as an enemy-and you will definitely know whether you're her enemy or if she just likes to tease you.
At quiet moments, if you look into her eyes, they seem somehow empty, though certainly not devoid of a soul, and far away. She refuses to talk about what she is seeing at these times. Normally, though, her eyes are alight with either anger or mischief. She's not afraid to cause trouble and will sometimes recklessly, and foolishly, chase after that goal.
She is very wary around people, but, if you actually make a friend of her, she is loyal and trustworthy. She will stay by your side no matter what.
