Keirlyna of Shara

Keirlyna gave the man a lazy and seductive smile, her pale blue eyes raking his body in a very suggestive manner. He openly returned the appreciative gaze, his eyes drinking her in thirstily, and just as obviously avoiding the tattoo upon her face that marked as one of the Ayyad. Her hand reached out and gently caressed his cheek, whispering unspoken promises. "I can't thank you enough. You were very brave taking on such a risk. I will be eternally grateful. If ever you need anything, anything at all, you have but to ask." Though her body spoke the language of languorous seduction, her mind was quite alert, filled with loathing and contempt for this man, and she meant the term in only the loosest sense of the word, who stood before her, what he was wanting written quite plainly across his face. It really was a shame that he was not going to be able to live out his full use, she could have engaged his assistance a little bit longer.

The dirty man leered at her, his dark eyes glittering hungrily. "Anything, huh? Well then why don't you come a little closer, wench." His hands reached out and grasped her around the waist roughly, pulling her body closer to his. She put up with his roaming hands only a moment before she drew on saidar, directing a thin strand of spirit directly on the pain center of his brain. It didn't take long for him to let go of her, his eyes bulging with pain, and only another couple of minutes before he lay dead on the ground at her feet. Moving away from the dead man, disgust written all over her features she made her way to the now abandoned wagon, moving much quicker, but her slender body still moved with same sinuous grace. With a light step she climbed into the wagon, whipping the reins sharply so that the wagon would move as quickly as possible.

She knew full well that she was going to have to get out of here as quickly as possible. After all unless you were a servant to the Sh'boan or Sh'botay, and Ayyad did not leave the villages without permission, and she most certainly didn't have that permission. Her bloodline was a very old and prestigious one, but the concept that she had absolutely no freedom to live her life as she chose chaffed at her like a leash would. She would not under any circumstances live her life according to the whim of the ruler any longer, even if it meant that she had to kill every person who got in her way. She had lived out her life trapped in one of those villages, her every move watched, her every word heavily weighed and calculated. Of course if she were going to get out of here she was going to have to mask herself with illusion, otherwise there would be no escaping a forced return to the villages. She absolutely detested the idea, but there was no other choice. Quickly forming the weaves, her normally pale blue eyes were turned a nondescript shade of brown and her ebony waves a golden chestnut. Even her body appeared different, no longer the trim and supple body of a young woman, but instead that of a rather plump and wrinkled peasant wife. Satisfied with her work she continued on towards the Cliffs of Dawn, stopping only briefly to sell the wagon and buy the supplies that she would need.

From the corner of her eye she caught the flicker of movement as it passed by her door swiftly, shaking herself out of her reveries she got to her feet. She was the sitter for the Brown Ajah and as such really did not have the time to sink her mind in history, at least not her own past. Everything had changed so much, she had left Shara and all that it held for her long behind, it was time she did the same Moving with the selfsame grace of a cat she stepped out her door, her soft blue eyes falling upon the retreating back of a very handsome young man. Her eyes took on a familiar predatory gleam, and her mouth curved into a seductive smile. Well maybe not everything had changed all that much.
