Seia Ayende

"Seia? Seia?"

As she felt the hands coming off her head, the dark-haired girl awoke to encounter a woman wearing a double-serpent ring...the very woman she met minutes ago... What was her name again? Light!

"You took a pretty hard hit on your head there when I told you about your birth parents and that you had the ability to channel." said Riana Sedai, a sister of the blue Ajah.

No...it can't be...they couldn't be... That among a million other things raced through her head...

Seia was in front of her family's shop in Camelyn. She was actually adopted -- the Ayende Family was her maternal Aunt's family. Her mother had died suddenly soon after Seia was born. A few days later, her grief-stricken father had rode to the Taren and drowned himself.

Seia had found out from the Aes Sedai that her birth mother had the ability to channel, but died before she could train. Her birth father had been gentled and seemed well enough to carry on, but obviously her mother's death was the last straw, seemingly. It left him with no desire to live on.

Seia had no desire to leave and train...her aunt was also quite ill and her cousin Aldair had run away leaving her aged uncle to keep up the shop. The family had been close, and now it was breaking up bit by bit. However, she knew she would certainly die if she did not accompany Riana to Tar Valon.

She ended up having to leave everybody behind...nothing to her would be the same again.

It took Seia five years of lessons and hard work to be raised to Accepted. She had left one family only to join another...she made friends among her sisters rather quickly. She was well-known in the Tower for being kind and gentle.

Her strongest elements so far are Spirit and Water. Air is a close third fillowed by Earth and Fire. Her teachers are trying to steer her toward the Yellow Ajah, as they do all Accepteds who have a good potential for healing. However the Blue and Green Ajahs also seem to perk her interest. She is being tested to see if she is a dreamer, but only time and much more testing will tell there.

Seia is about 5'5 with a slight tan and a slender build. She has black eyes and hair and is known for wearing a ring on her necklace: a man's amethyst and gold ring--that of her Promised in Camelyn, Galen al'Fairin. She doesn't know when they'll meet again, or if he'll even take her because she is training in the White Tower. The Wheel will weave as it wills, and only the Creator knows what will become of them.
