1. Place in italics (this phrase is in italics) or 
      underline them (this phrase is underlined).
      a. Use italics whenever you can, such as when using a word processor.
      b. Use underlining when you can't use italics, such as when handwriting 
         or using a typewriter.
   2. Capitalize the first word.
   3. Capitalize the last word.
   4. Capitalize all other important words.
      a. Nouns
      b. Pronouns
      c. Verbs
      d. Adjectives (except for a, an, and the).
      e. Adverbs
      f. Interjections
   5. Do not capitalize the articles (a, an, and the).
   6. Do not capitalize most conjunctions (like and, but  and or).
   7. Do not capitalize short prepositions.

   Examples:
   Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
   The Atlantic Monthly
   USA Today
   Seussical the Musical
   March of the Penguins
   Spongebob Squarepants

   1. Place in quotation marks.
   2. Follow the same capitalization rules as for longer works (see above).

   Examples:
   "The Dog of Pompeii"
   "The Walrus and the Carpenter"
   "Tigers Lose to White Sox"
   "Moon River"
