Several key issues pertaining to Malayalees in Malaysia were discussed. This ADC was an eye opener to us as it showed how a small affiliate like the West Pahang Malayalee Association with only 68 members could organise a national event so well.

Conclusion

It is heartening to note that more Malayalees are taking interest in our activities. We are being recognised as a viable organisation by the other Indian communities. This is largely due to the good work of the management committee ant the support and participation from members. In spite of this, our membership has not shown a significant increase. As in the past, we continue to appeal to more Malayalees to sign up as members and those who are in arrears to pay up their dues.
