My ANGEL OF THE YEAR GENTLE-MAYA
Veronica Lora Henderson born July 4th 1971 in New Mexico to a Drug Addict.
She was born deformed without legs a short arm and was deaf.
I meet Vera though a hotline when she called for help.I took her away from a very Abusive home.
I grew to love Vera as my own Daughter.She could not do little for herself. I didnt mind having to brush the long wonderful hair she had.
She was crazy about M&Ms she wanted them all the time. I saw what a 54 pound power house can do.On May 30, 1999 she took Jesus into her heart.She studied 3 to 4 hours a day and she loved the Lord.she could recount Bible from memory.
She loved everyone..no matter how or who they were.People fell in love with her on site. she alway had a kind word for all and Loved everyone. May time i saw her reach out in love to someone hurting.She was a joy to be around.
In July we found her to have cancer of the stomach,through the next few months of surgery and cemo treatment she struggled.I was had to see her go through so much.But in all this she kept her eyes focused on Jesus.Sharing what she new and being true to the word of God. Her morning emails were a strong hold for many and she so enjoyed doing them.As time went on and her heath failed she begain to shine like no one i have ever seen.
She was a co-manager in disABILITYangels and she loved that room with all her heart.She made people feel Loved as soon as the they came in the room.sometimes I would watch her chat.and her sceen was full of 1-1 s hahhah she loved it!! her happy little things she would do like wOoOoooOohOOoOoO and xoxoxoxoxoxoxxoox ((((((((room))))))) made people day!! she always to people they were loved and she love you all so dearly.She was a angel to me.I laughed when I saw her say im da baby got to love me!!! then it was I da Boss got to love me. She fell in love with a speical man Tymelord and they laughed and danced and he would sing to to her.
It was a joy to watch her so happy.She had a Dad online Veradad that she meet her first day in chat and it was instant Love, there shared many hopes and dream for her and he was so very special to her. Oh everone was her family she had brother and sisters on line B-4-it was momma tigger and gogo were mom and dad and walt and gigi were her grandparents and she call Newdawn POPPA and smiled when she did it. Many people passed her way in 7 month she was with me. My Baby loved all..She went to be with the lord January 4th 1999.I will Miss her ..her mom Linda Fay

have her long - Our friend whose gone away. And if things could be different I confess I'd have her stay With us and bless us with her friendship and her smile, She grew so very dear to us in such a little while. Now we all are lonesome - Each heart has an empty space- That wants to feel her hand again and see her smiling face - And hear her speak so gently, and just be with us each day. We miss her and we're grieving for - Our Friend whose gone away. But I am very thankful -There is peace within my soul - For I know she's with Jesus - I know He has made her whole. And I know too I'll see her when He calls me from this place,
And when I go to live with Him - I know I'll see her face. So as I write these words and I remember our Dear Friend. I am thankful that He loaned her to us at the very end. How precious are His thoughts toward us - How wondrous are His ways -
He sent us such a lovely soul to bless and fill our days
