Max
Max died from an unknown poison while residing with his co-owner. He is much missed.

Max was provided to us by our good friend, Sheila Fraser of Ellen's Alley Boxers. He is an example of how good natural ears can look, even in a dog from Show lines, with diligent taping. Our November 07 show was his first ever show, at 8 1/2 months, and he had a blast. He was one of two natural eared dogs we entered (ceeCee being the other); the only 2 natural ear boxers in the show.
In January, we entered him in a 2 day show. On Saturday, he went best of winners over a lot of nice bitches. On Sunday he went Winner's Dog. Both judges loved him and both wins were from the 9 to 12 month old class. Max is the first Natural ear boxer to win points in an AKC Alaskan show! He needs only his Majors to finish.
He's a very high energy, fun boy, very loving but drives me crazy getting into *everything*. He has a very quick mind and takes a long time to tire out. We see him often out in the yard, no matter the weather, with the youngest girls just racing all over and playing while the other dogs are crashed in the house. Max is currently living with his breeder in WA.
