Single Track World: Not only does this trail offer some great downhills it also offers some nice single track through rolling pines and back to some great drops. There is about 15 miles of single track and some nice climbs to get the heart pumping. There is some technical areas with a scenic trail that runs along a creek. To Get There: (Milledgeville, GA) From the front campus of Georgia College take highway 49 towards Macon. Go through two traffic lights and about three miles up the road past Baldwin County High School and a Flash Foods gas station and it will on your right. There is a white cross bar blocking the head of the trail.
Vineyard Mountain: Made up of mostly singletrack this trail offers some great technical and singletrack downhill with some steep climbs. There is some great views of Lake Allatoona and there is about 8 mile of trails. To Get There: (Cartersville, GA) Go north on I-75 till you get to the Red Top Mountain State Park exit. At the end of the ramp take a right, then take the first left you come to. (across from the Conoco gas station). Trail head is on the right as you pull in.
Tallulah Gorge: This trail consists of mostly singletrack and old jeep roads. There are allot of ruts caused from the rains but it just adds to the fun. You can go about 12 miles on one trail and get some great views of Tallulah Gorge and the water falls within the gorge. You need to sign in at the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center and they will also give you any info you need on what trail are open. To Get There: (Clayton, GA) Going south on highway 441 take a left onto the Terrora Park Campground Road (South Rock Mountain Road). Go past the campground and turn right to the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center.
