April 13,2000 WCW's new era has started and it seems to at least be interesting. The young guys actually seem to be getting pushed. I give WCW props for actually getting their heads out of their butts. The Undertaker was supposed to come back this past Monday but for whatever reason Vince McMahon decided against it. Mike Awesome has been signed sealed and delivered to WCW. All that's left for him in ECW is his final match tonight where he will lose the belt to either Tommy Dreamer, Raven or the odds on favorite, The Sandman. Many wrestlers in ECW hold a grudge against Awesome for his jump. With the Awesome jump WCW has also tried to get Rhino, Kid Kash, Mikey Whipwreck and Lance Storm but if rumors hold true all of them declined. Expect the Rock to NOT win the World title at Backlash. He will most likely suffer some sort of "injury" that will give him time to fill "The Mummy 2". People who are expected to step up as main event babyfaces range from Jericho to Big Show to Kane to Rikishi. Of course the WWF might just use the Undertaker to fill the void.
