10 Favorite Games
My 10 Favorite Games

The following is a list of my 10 favorite games of All-Time!

1. FINAL FANTASY III(SNES): The first time I seen this game I was hooked. The game has 14 great characters to choose from leaving you with endless possiblities. Kefka, the main villain, adds humor during the first part of the game and then goes completely evil during the second half of the game. The game is a constant roller-coster with things going well, then they get bad for you, then you make a comeback only to find out your actually helping out the enemy. Then when all seems lost you move in for the final strike.

2. NINJA GAIDEN (NES): Throughout all the years, this game is the one that I miss the most. The game was just awesome for it's time. The levels and bosses kept you on the edge of your seat while you were trying to avenge the loss of your father.

3. CONTRA (NES): This is the game that I remember most from my childhood. I used to spend DAYS playing this game non-stop. Trying to destroy the brain that controlled the planet and that created the creatures roaming the island was just non-stop fun. The best part was when you beat it, you get to play it all over again until all your lives are gone. Me and my friends once played through it 11 straight times without having to continue.

4. FINAL FANTASY VII (Playstation):
This game was the game that put RPGs on the map. The graphics, gameplay, and motion videos had me hooked for months. Throw in the evil Sephiroth killing one of my party members and driving another insane, it gives me all the motivation I need to smite him. Plus the fact that the idiot summoned a large idiot to destroy the planet. The only negative about this game is its VERY lackluster ending. Other than that, it's a must play.

5. RIVER CITY RANSOM (NES): This game was just fun for me. I just had fun kicking the snot out of people. Plus it was funny watching the characters eat and go to the sauna.

6. DUKE NUKEM: A TIME TO KILL (Playstation): I loved this game just for the blood and guts factor. Duke talking smack adds in a few good laughs and the two player option adds hours of butt kicking time.

7. DOUBLE DRAGON II (NES): Again I liked this game mostly for its butt-kicking ability. I loved thrashing the evil version of me. It just sent a chill up my demented spine.

8. WWF ATTITUDE (Playstation): This game is a must for a wrestling fan like me. It has endless options of matches and characters that gave me hours of fun. Watching my character do his personalized entrance puts me in the mood to thrash somebody into oblivion.

9. LEGEND OF ZELDA: A LINK TO THE PAST (SNES): This game was a prequal to the original two. It put all the pieces into place. Not only do you have to conquer the regular world but you have to conquer the much more evil, and difficult, Dark World. The game is great from beginning to end, although the first half of the game seems a bit rushed.

10. FINAL FANTASY VIII (Playstation): This game really didn't appeal to me as much as the previous two did. Maybe it's the main character, Squall, who seems very cold and distant to everybody in the game. Other than that, I like this game enough to give it the 10 spot in my list. The bosses are fantastic and so is the storyline. I loved going through training to get my rank and then getting sent on missions. This ones not as good as the previous two but it's great in its own way.

HONORABLE MENTION:

Jackal (NES)
Super Metroid (SNES)
Saturn Bomberman (Sega Saturn)
Wonderboy II (Sega)
