JOINING DETAILS
To Join the Unit, Follow these steps:
- Turn up to parade, and ask for an enrollment form (also known as a PE77) and turn up to the next parade night.
- Some Cadets will need to be examined by a doctor prior to enlistment. This is done at the members expense. Each cadet will be given a medical form, which must be taken to a doctor at the time of examination. This is only applicable if there is an injury or Illness which might prevent a cadet from participating in certain activities. The cadet will, however, be permitted to join, but will not be permitted to participate in all activities.
- Cadets will normally be permitted to commence training at the beginning of each school term. Each cadet is then required to participate in a recruit training course.
- Once a cadet has enrolled, they are permitted to attend Unit Parades. However, they may have to wait until the beginning of each school term before they can participate in the Unit Recruit Training. Prior to this course, Cadets will be permitted to attend other scheduled training activities.
