Debbie Mannas

Born and raised in Bangalore, India, this extraordinary talent has been singing since she was 4 and taught herself to play guitar at age eleven. She soon garnered a string of first prizes in high school, intercollegiate and interstate contests in her native country, wowing huge audiences and judges alike with her sultry emotional renderings and mature-beyond-her-years vocal strength. Debbie now lives and works in Hong Kong; there she sang in a dance band for a year and a half, before recently giving in to the demands of her day job. She started writing her own songs in 1999.
