JAMES "Nagor Baul" is among the most talked bands in Bangladesh at present. It was founded by
James who is the main vocalist of the band. It made an immense change in the nature of band music. It came up with a different type of music which focuses on subjects concerning real life events. Its music is more mystical rather than matters related to mortal attachments. It likes subjects which provide or portray a spiritual meaning to the listeners. It is mostly popular among the youth.His fans calls him Guru with respect.
This band was called Feelings when Guru joined there as guitarist and vocal and in '99 when Funty came out of the band this band James renamed the band as NAGOR BAUL which is well matched with his personality. This band is merging towards a level of fame which no band in Bangladesh has ever reached. It has released many records. It has four members in their band among them James, who is the vocalist and lead guitarist. Babu plays base guitar and Tajul handles the keyboard and Romel handles Drums.
