Hazel recently starred as Mary Magdalene
in the UK tour of "Jesus Christ Superstar". She made
her theatre debut playing the lead role in "Heavenly
Bodies" at the Leicester Haymarket, and appeared in
"Evita" at the Chelmsford Spectacular 1998.
Concert work includes touring with Belinda Carlisle, UK shows
with China Black and Michelle Gayle, and European dates with Tina
Arena and Céline Dion. Hazel also provided backing vocals for
Tina Turner.
Televion experience covers "Showstoppers" for the BBC,
"The Shane Richie Experience" for Granada and a Michael
Ball Special for Central TV. She has appeared on "Saturday
Live" with Mark Morrison, "Talking Telephone
Numbers" with Kim Wilde and "Top Of The Pops" with
Shola Ama, Lisa Stansfield and Katrina And The Waves. She sang
with Robbie Williams and Tom Jones at the "'98 Brit
Awards", Tom Jones and Stereophonics at the "Brit
Awards 2000" and performed with Elaine Paige on "The
National Lottery". She also appeared on the "Red Alert
Lottery" series with Lulu.
Hazel has recorded albums for Dina Carroll, Stereophonics, Status
Quo, Robson and Jerome, Steps, S Club 7 and Alexander O'Neal. She
can be heard on "The Movies Album" with Michael Ball,
and the "Evita" and "Beloved" film
soundtracks.
Hazel is now one of the chorists touring with Jamiroquai. She
performed in some "Another Kind Of
Magic" concerts in Sweden last
May.
Haze performed in "Notre-Dame de Paris" from the London opening in May 2000 till 29th September 2001. She was an alternate and then became a principal singer.
