Werewolves and other kin... Just because you asked... Most legends about wer are un-true... Werewolves are not humans suffering from lycanthropy. Being bitten by a wer does not cause you to become a wer, wer dont change form during a full moon. They do have supernatural healing abilities, they can change form at will, and they are alergic to silver. Silver interferes with the healing abilities, and causes wounds which take normal (human) time to heal. Same for magical weapons. Wer are very tuned to nature, and to the planet, they can comminicate with the spirits of the land, and use their power to do magic. They are also created by luna, the goddess of the moon, to serve Gaia, and as such are particularly aware of Luna's eye on them. The full moon agitates them, and they tend to be more agressive during the night of the full moon. The clan lifestyle of the wer is much like that of a normal wolf pack. There are many normal wolves, but are led by an Alpha male, and Alpha Female. Second to them is the Beta male, and Beta female. They are very aggresive to strong willed people as they tend to become dominant. They greatly respect their dead, but do not mourn long over them. Wer have the ability to use magic. They can communicate with spirits, and can entreat them to do things. Different spells require knowing how different spirits think and act, and knowing how to ask them to do things... They can also bind spirits into items, like charms and weapons. The most famous of these is the Klaive. Most klaive's are bound with a war spirit, or some spirit of great strength..
