Death's Door

Visit the Maine State Maximum Security Correctional Facility, opened in 1855. Nicknamed "Death's Door" in days past, when the State and Federal governments executed heinous criminals there, the jail has a sinister reputation. Today, the prison is still functional, but is nearly forgotten by most, and fewer criminals than ever make their way there. However, those that do never forget the experience.

The Forgotten Hour

Nestled deep within the Maine wilderness lies the urban oasis of Bangor. A crossroads linking the Maine coast, the western hills, and the northern woods, Bangor has long been a center of commerce and industry. It also functions as a crossroads in the world of darkness, which can make life for the kindred extremely dangerous. Buildings are haunted by restless mischievous spirits. The woods surrounding the city are teeming with furry killing machines unsympathetic to the inhuman ways of kindred. Inexplicable
supernatural forces lurk in the shadows just beyond sight, and meddle in the affairs of all.

Imagine the World of Darkness before the turn of the 20th century. 1885 to be exact. Before the buzz of florescent lights burned the vision of those that dwell in darkness. While respected scholars still delved into the occult, and the Arcanum was just a vision. Imagine the fog rolling down the gutters of Baker Street, the shadowed arches on cobblestone streets, the flickering of gas powered streetlights. This is the setting for London by Gaslight.

In the city of New Orleans the pieces are being picked up as things return to what was before. 
Welcome to New Orleans, a city with a vast and rich supernatural history. For centuries many factions have fought for her control. The struggles were set aside as all faced what was to be The End. Each of their prophecies seemed to be coming true. Then without warning it all ended....nothing. They all found themselves back at the beginning. Nothing happened, at least not yet. So as fear fades, many take up old habits and fights. Old rivalries arise, power struggles begin anew, and the fight for New Orleans begins again.
