St Patrick's Cathedral (Anglican)

A view along Scotch street with the Anglican Cathedral on the hill beyond.

The Cathedral was restored by Archbishop Robinson in 1765 and again by by Archbishop Beresford between 1834 and 1837, it was faced with a cladding of sandstone and its steeple demolished.  As you can see it is now a plain building in the perpendular Gothic style with a squat crenellated central tower.
