Ireland offers
voyages to young people aged 12 - 25 to help promote self-esteem, mutual trust
and the development of teamwork. Most voyages last a week, though some weekend
voyages are available. Lord Rank mostly sails around the Scottish Isles and
Irish Sea. No previous sailing experience is needed and all equipment is supplied.
Volunteer sea-staff form a central part of OYTI and we welcome applications
from potential volunteer sea staff. Young people can also complete their Duke
of Edinburgh's Award Gold Residential on these voyages.
