Galway Buskers
The Tin Whistle
A very popular Musical instrument used by buskers througout Ireland.
This guy was doing a good job!
The More The Merrier
Five young lads
who attracted a very large crowd in Quay street with there
Jigs and reels.
Note the large collection box, I never found out if they carried
it home full.
Lets hope they did !!
One Ain't Enough!
This guy won't get fed
up with the same sound, he has many instruments and is
also a good singer..
If They Can...Well so Can I !
And this little girl did!
By Bouncing her little fingers along the Tin Whistle she produced some sweet notes down the streets of Galway.
Yes another big box!
The Golden One
Standing on a small metal pillar with the dress specially made to touch the ground .This guy/girl (not sure) can be motionless for quite a while, in fact you would think she/he is a gold statue until someone comes closly to drop a few pence in the tray. This is when she/he wakens with short bursts of movement. This can be quite funny as the figure makes strange expressions never smiling at the crowd.
