Dunree Head, Innishowen
On Leaving Knockalla, by the coast road towards "Lambs Head Bay" and "Rathmullan" you will see much better views of "Dunree Head" (Innishowen peninsula) as seen in this photo.
Other than taking the Rathmullan-Buncrana car ferry to get to Innishowen from here you would have to travel south to" Letterkenny" then east towards Derry/Londonderry. Just before you arrive at the north-south border turn left at roundabout (Signposted) for Innishowen.
Malin Head (not show in this photo) is the furthest point north in Ireland.
