In this season finale, Nick Fallin's life comes full circle, as he faces a number of overwhelming issues both personally
and professionally. Nick becomes increasingly unhappy with the situation at Fallin & Assoc. when Senator Caldwell takes
over the firm when his father, Burton Fallin, lands a seat as a Federal Judge. Nick decides to meet with Jake Straka and a
few other attorneys to discuss a possible defection. When Burton learns about the plan, he is frustrated that Nick didn't
come to him first. Feeling betrayed, Burton explains to Nick all that he has done and the strings he has pulled to protect
his son. On a personal note, Nick is plagued by problems resulting from the strip club shooting involving fugitive Mandy Gressler
and his probation officer. Suddenly, Mandy shows up asking Nick for help, and Nick tries to do the right thing by turning
her in. When Mandy discovers that Nick called the police, she attacks him just as Burton shows up to make amends. Nick finds
himself in a precarious position as he tries to shield his father from a messy situation with Mandy.
