On May 5th 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota,
Vincent was born to Jim and Janet Kartheiser. He is the youngest of six children. He has four older sisters, Colette, Therese,
Elise and Andrea, and an older brother, Nathan. Vincent started his acting at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. He was in
a number of productions, starting at the age of six, including "The History of Henry IV and V", "Rebecca of Sunnybrooke Farm",
"Pippi Longstocking", "A Christmas Carol", "The Velveteen Rabbit" and "Raggedy Ann and Andy". Vincent started trying out for
movies at the age of 13. He received membership in the Screen Actors Guild for his small performance in the film Untamed Hearts
starring Christian Slater and Marisa Tormei. Since then he has played roles in other films, including a leading role in the
Warner Bros. film Alaska, opposite Thora Birch. Before starring on Angel, Vincent made guest appearances on the television
shows ER and Sweet Justice. Besides acting, Vincent, who majored in history at UCLA, enjoys reading authors such as Dostoevsky
and Shakespeare. He is also an avid rock climber and fencer.
