You ain't never been on a ride like this before. - Dr. Dre

Welcome to the "Anti-Biomed." This site is a first, baby. There ain't any other site on the entire 100,000,000 sites or so on the internet even close to being like this one. It's a first, but firsts are what starts revolutions, firsts are what makes changes to the system, and firsts are what gets the truth out there to those who need to know. The first thing you will notice, if you are or were a Biomed, is the title. Do not jump to conclusions. The title simply reflects our OPINIONS about the Biomedical Sciences Program at the University of California, Riverside. The purpose of this site, however, is not to "diss" the Biomed program or its students. Rather, the purpose is to provide some information from a variety of sources about one of the most notoriously competitive programs in any institution of higher learning. Sort of a counter-point to the University's utopian description, if you will. Hopefully, this site will be valuable to anyone considering the Program, as well as any employers considering hiring graduates of this Program. Furthermore, the content at this site aims to revolutionize the way that the process of admission, education, and relicensing is carried out in todays medical profession, so that more doctors and health care professionals will be COMPETENT. We understand that our efforts may be as insignificant as throwing a grain of salt in the Pacific Ocean, but we believe that if we can provide useful and truthful information to even one person, then we have succeeded. Lastly, our site is for the general public, so that it may be aware of fallacies in the medical care system where they exist, and as an educational tool for patients to become aware of the existence of incompetent healthcare professionals.
