I'M SICK OF NOEL'S LIES

TEARFUL Meg Mathews last night poured her heart out to the News of the World about her bitter marriage bust-up from Oasis star Noel Gallagher — and accused him of being a failure as a father.

The blonde beauty, in Thailand recovering from an emergency appendix operation, accused the star of "spreading rumours" that she was a poor mother because she failed to fly back from holiday for their daughter Anais's first birthday last Saturday.

"I nearly died," sobbed 34-year-old Meg in an astonishing exclusive interview. "I'm not dashing around here having a good time.

"I totally miss my baby. I was supposed to fly back from holiday for Anais's birthday but the doctors wouldn't let me. I cried my eyes out all that day.

"All these rumours are flying round that I don't want to be there for my daughter. Noel is the one who keeps putting them around.

"Why do I keep looking like I'm the bad person?," she stormed.

"Anais has been with my mum and dad the whole time I've been away. Noel hasn't had her at all.

"He was at her little birthday party which my mum and dad gave her while I was stuck out here.

"But he arrived there at 3.45 in the afternoon and left at 5.30.

"That's basically the only time he spent with her. In fact he's only had her twice since we split in September — and that's been with his mum Peggy."

    Wound

Meg, who was one hour from possible death when doctors in Phuket removed her appendix, spilled out her bitterness over her divorce from the rock legend as she waited to see whether doctors would give her the go-ahead to fly back to Britain tomorrow.

She has a small abdominal wound with three stitches and is out of bed — but she was banned from flying home because of the fear that she could develop blood clots in the aircraft's pressurised cabin.

However Meg was ready to spit blood whenever the subject of Noel, 33, came up during our interview. She revealed how he:

FAILED to call to see how his little daughter was on Christmas Day while he was on holiday in Malaysia with his new girlfriend PR Sara MacDonald — and had Anais's presents CHAUFFERED round to her.

REFUSED to pay for a lavish birthday party Meg had planned for her.

REFUSES to look after Anais at weekends because he says he "hasn't enough room" in his £850,000 three-storey home in west London, and

CUT OFF Meg's credit card while she was stranded in Thailand.

"I'm sick and tired of being made out to be the bad one," she stormed.

"It's OK for him to go off to Malaysia at Christmas instead of being with Anais.

"He takes his girlfriend for her 30th birthday for five days saying that he's not committing adultery. No one says anything about that.

"He didn't even come round with Anais's presents — he just got his chauffeur to drop them off.

"We arranged for him to see her near New Year. He picked her up a day late on New Year's Eve and he dropped her off a day early.

"What annoys me is that Noel has hardly had any contact with his daughter since we split up and he makes out that he has.

"Why doesn't he have her at weekends? Because he says, `I haven't got enough room'.

"Since we split up in September he's had her twice and that's been with his mum."

Meg also revealed her fury over her doomed plan to arrange a slap-up party for Anais and her little friends.

She wanted a massive bash like the one David Beckham and Posh Spice had for their son Brooklyn.

Meg said: "I wanted to do the best and throw a £50,000 party in London, rent out a room and get it all done out in a hotel.

    Fears

"Noel said `Well, I'm not paying for it'. He doesn't know any of her little girl friends, anyway."

Meg also accuses the rocker of being tight-fisted towards her.

"He's cut my credit card off while I'm here. It's still cut off as far as I know," she said.

Meg defended her decision to leave Anais behind with her parents while she took a holiday. She told how her mum Christine had urged to her to go to ease her worries.

And she spoke for the first time of her cancer fears over her breast implants.

"I think a holiday was perfectly understandable after the year I have been through," she said.

"I had the baby in January, Noel went on a six-week tour just 10 days afterwards.

"Then I got glandular fever and could not even get out of bed.

"Then I had the trauma where Anais stopped breathing in her cot because she had mucus stuck in her throat and was saved by my mother.

"And through all this I found out that the Trilucent breast implants I'd had in 1997 had given me a 90 per cent chance of having cancer."

Trilucent implants — which contain soya bean oil — were banned worldwide in 1999 after being found to contain toxic substances which were potentially carcinogenic if the implants leaked or burst.

"I had to go through all of that and then we go to Ibiza and my husband leaves me with an eight-month-old baby. All that in one year.

"So I decided at Christmas, OK, I've got to get a holiday.

"I live in Buckinghamshire, stuck in the middle on my own, with no friends and no family around me.

"My parents live in Norfolk which is three and a half hours away. They said, `Meg, go and have a break and be with your friends'.

"I've got five or six really good friends with me out here. So the news is that I've got an Australian boyfriend — which I haven't. They're all good friends.

"I was supposed to be back a week ago on Wednesday — and then this happened."

Meg fell ill the day before she was due to come home.

"It was acute appendicitis. It was about to burst," she said. "They whisked me down to theatre half an hour after I went into hospital.

"The operation was done on 8pm on Tuesday night and my flight was supposed to be at 6pm that night.

"At 6am the following morning the doctor told me I could not fly for 10 days because your blood clots for at least that long after an operation.

"Eventually I just had to get out of that hospital. It looked like something out of Vietnam.

"My doctor signed me out. He said I was very fit and that basically once the appendix is out it's fine, you just have to heal.

"I've got a scar with three stitches. I've had a big bandage on. I can walk now because I'm quite healthy and a quick healer.

"I'm not just going to sit in a room and feel sorry for myself, because this doesn't do anybody any good. I want to come back feeling really positive."

She will return a divorced woman after their quickie decree in just 75 seconds at the High Court in last month.

    Blonde

Meg claims she was the one who pushed for it. "I said please let's get divorced, let's do everything, " she said.

"I'm the married woman while you're waltzing around with your blonde bird. You take your girlfriend off to Malaysia but, oh no, Meg's supposed to just deal with everything.

"What do I do? Do I sit around all day and cry or do I hang out with people who are going to make me feel good and positive and go back and see my daughter on Monday and feel great?

"I don't want to get bitchy. I don't want it to be like that.

"I don't want it to look like the Jimmy Gulzar-Mel B thing. But I've had enough of keeping quiet.

"Now I just can't wait to get home to Anais. She's still got all my presents to open. I've got so many for her.

"When Noel came back from Malaysia, he didn't even bring her one single present. Not one."
