In addition to the episode guide, it would be great to see a selection of classic bits/favorite lines from the show (as some readers have sent). The OC cast was great, but the writers have to be given a lot of credit! They were brilliant. Some of my favorite bits: The David Steinberg Show appearance, Felix's airplane panic (I much fear trouble in the fuselage, Frederic), and the two of them on Password (it's a well-known fact that Lincoln loved mayonnnaise).
Keep up the good work!

Nothing serious - just an appreciation for the website - I despise most TV, and I think Tony & Jack brought a touch of class to the medium, the show was a highlight of my late adolescent years. Now that we are enjoying the old episodes again, my wife and I are truly appreciating the comedic genius of Al! And those poker games were something fun I once aspired to with former colleagues! Great friendships!

I am a great fan of this extremely funny television show and have been for many years. Felix is such a pain, and Oscar is such a slob! No wonder their wives got rid of them! Though if I was asked to describe myself, I would have to say that I'm very similar to Oscar - in fact, if they were to film the show in Australia, where I live, my bedroom could be used as the set of his bedroom! Anyway, I hope to hear from Odd Couple television show fans from all over the world.

First off I would like to say that for as long as I can remember sitting in front of the television I remember the Odd Couple. I am now 30 years old and I absolutely adore this show. My brothers and a friend of mine are going crazy trying to find these fantastic episodes on VHS. While it is true that Columbia House has the tapes, they told me that if interest in the tape lessens they will stop making the tapes. So, this is a desperate plea to amyone who reads this. My brothers and frind of mine will be forever in the debt of the person who can fulfill this request. Just email me with your conditons and we will most likely agree. Thanks in advance. Long live the O.C.

From: Chris Bjork (bjork@berbee.com)
Date: Fri Sep 1 16:25:55 2000What a great place!
I grew up in NYC and watched the Odd Couple avidly on WPIX growing up. At one point I remember that the show was on 4 times a day (2 back to back) and I would watch all four (it must have been during the summer). I used to have many scenes memorized, but have gotten very rusty during the last 10 years out here in the midwest. It is so great to get connected back to the show and know that there are so many other fanatics out there! I just throw out a few random quotes - all very easy for this group:
"Judging from his returns, we just assumed he lost her somewhere"
"I put enough mayonaise on there to wipe out the House of Unger"
"It's a jigsaw puzzle"
"Al Bummy Davis!"
"Aristophanes, Ridiculus!"
Also, has anyone noticed that in the opening sequence Felix and Oscar seem to be eating their
sandwiches by the fountain in front of the Plaza Hotel, the same fountain that the "Friends" cast jump around in in their into?
Cheers!
Chris

I can't remember how many episodes that were created just from the movie alone. "Murray I'll give you $200 for your gun" is just one line from the movie that made it to an episode. The Odd Couple is by far the best comedy ever made for television.
I hope another company picks up the video rights and puts out the episodes on video tape again. Gee, why did NickAtNite have to let such a fine show go? I miss them guys <sniffles>

I pick this particular year 1972 because to me that was one the best year of the 70's tv shows,
especially on abc.The brady bunch on 8:00pm,The
Partrige family at 8:30,Room 222 at 9:00 and The
Odd Couple at 9:30pm.I taped almost every episode
on the Nick-At Nite reruns 3yrs ago. Almost
everyone that I talked to was watching those nights that it aired and said how it brought back
a lot of memories and how they remembered when it
aired on friday nights on abc in the 70's.
