First off, thanks to whoever created this web site. I love the show with all my heart. I have seen every episode more than 10 times, and I still laugh hard when I see some of the particular shows. Also, when I think of a scene from the show, I started to laugh so hard, that I shake like a tree in a wind storm.
With that being said, I have to say this: I am sort of like Oscar, with the following exceptions: I don't smoke, I don't drink and I don't gamble. But, I am a sports writer, I have a messy room (there is a pool on what color my carpet is), and I am a sports writer. You should see my desk at work. I also wear a lot of sweatshirts and baseball caps.
Thanks for the time. I have one more message to send.

I also want to share how much I appreciate the show, his performance as Oscar, and how I still laugh hard when I watch the show on TV. If someone can, please E-mail a good address.

Helllo This is a good page you have. I chose this topic because that corporate Logo is what drew me to the Odd Couple. I like the Odd Couple, but the Logo makes it better. That was before Paramount the old logo with its new one. I saw this last fall when It was on a channel that was not cable. Now to your site. I like your site. I also like your episode guide, but it does not say what years and seasons the epipsodes are from. I do not turn the set off when the credits come on not only because of the theme song, but for Paramount's Corporate Logo.

The complaint - I know that in all the years of OC syndication, each local TV station had it's own method of trimming each episode to show more commercials. Depending on what city I was in I would see different scenes removed and replaced. I kind of got used to that method, even though it was a BAD thing to do.
Now Nickelodian has done something even worse - they surgically remove individual lines and jokes so smoothly you can't tell it's been edited out unless you are waiting to hear a specific line. If you watch the show casually you will not see the edit. IMHO, this cuts into the creative work itself. It's like re-writing the show. Also, the lines they are cuttin

The ODD COUPLE will go down in history as one of the greatest sitcoms. I'm glad to see there are many more avid watchers and "THANK YOU" TV Land for bringing the couple back.

This show has to be on the top 5 comedies of all time. I know all the shows by heart. I grew up watching the reruns, and I miss the show alot since its not on as much anymore. Tony and Jack are brillient actors. I hear people wishing the show to come back, but nobody can replace those 2, they were the best. It shocks me when people are discussing the greatest shows of all time, and the Odd Couple isn't mentioned. More surprising to me is that the show was never in the top 25 for tv ratings. It was just a great show that made me laugh over and over again, and its great to see others comment about the show on how much they enjoyed it as well.

Yes this is probably my favorite show. Oscar is my favorite one. Hes got that thing, that just makes you laugh. He don't take things that serious in life, and he takes pride in his job. Hes very understanding to Felix also (most of the time). Jack Klugman was a great choice to play Oscar Madison.
