Donetsk Centre of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after A.Krimsky of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was established by scientists and lecturers of the Donetsk State University, Donetsk State Institute of the Artificial Intellect, Kramatorsk Economic & Humanitarian Institute, Donetsk Museum of Regional Studies, Donetsk Medieval Archaeology Expedition in Donetsk, Ukraine.
The main target of its activity is to provide contacts and ties of co-operation between scientists in the field of history, culture, ideology and social problems of nations of the East.
The main directions of activity of the Centre are:

ethnography, religions, ideology and economies of ancient and modern peoples of the East; |
