Sleepless in Fulham: Rambling and gambling by David Young
Friday, 22 June 2007
Greetings from Las Vegas.
Topic: Misc.

I've been in Vegas since Tuesday night. Blogging will be light for the next week as I don't have a laptop. It's been great to see so many friends and familiar faces here, but I'm not convinced the cash games are better than the ones at home. So far I'd say they are worse, but this could be due to poor game selection on my part. Frode told me to play the Bellagio at 6am, but my body clock is completely wrong for this.

I would say the bellagio at 3a.m.  You should have made a crust by the time 6a.m. comes around and the game starts to break.  Hit and miss whether or not the game ran through the day or not, but if it is going to break, then at 6a.m. you have missed the biggest window.

Have as many wanks/drinks/pills as is necessary and get yourself to bed at 8pm and wake up fresh as a daisy.

I am surprised that pro's don't do 'whatever it takes' to do this - your body clock can be trained.  If you want the best shot at the easiest money, this has to be your best bet?

I got into good games at the Wynn over the last three days. Alas I've been totally card dead. It's really annoying. I thought the games at the Rio were horrible, but that could just be me. The only place where I'm in front is Binion's, but the game there on Saturday afternoon was the tightest I've seen anywhere in my life.
