FM Modulation Modification
The FM modulation on these radios is well known for being crap. With this modification the FM modulation is vastly improved.
1. Cut the track shown in the diagram below and add the 4K7 resistor as shown.
2. Remove R25 and connect one end of a 680K resistor to the end of C31 that was connected to R25.
3. Short out R26 and connect a 100nf capacitor in parallel with C152 and C154 (these are located near the audio IC).
4. Adjust RV3 for the required amount of FM deviation (usually 2-2.5khz).

Switching the roger bleep
1. Remove the wire connect to pin 3 on the roger bleep board and connect it to the centre terminal of the switch.
2. Connect a wire to pin 3 on the roger bleep board and connect the other end of this wire to the terminal of the switch for the on position.
3. Connect a wire to pin 5 on the roger bleep board and connect the other end of this wire to the terminal of the switch for the off position.
