memories.. click here Nine of our pre-signing "verbal commitments" for the 1999-2000 season are selected to represent the "best of the best" at the Hockey Night in Boston College Prospect Showcase on August 15-22, 1999. Shown above are (first row L to R) Melissa Nirva, Anna VanderMarliere and Jaime VanMassenhove. Standing (L to R) Melissa Wenzel, Brie Adams, Megan McLeod, Sarah Clark, Tina Ciraulo and Meghan Robson. The reason we are in different jerseys is because they were afraid if we all ended up on the same team we would be UNSTOPPABLE so the Orange/White and Black represented the Great Lakes/Minnesota team while the Burgundy and Blue were on the Midwest team. A nice pre-game meal in Toronto Finalists in Willowdale Earlybird losing 3-2 to North York Junior Aeros in Overtime. Team picture time - Lookin'
good Mike Risdale from Hockey Academy of Toronto working with our netminders (Maralle left, Anna right) to keep the "biscuit from the basket" (that's "puck outta da' net" for you non-hockey folk). Every Tuesday night before practice, 45 minutes of pumping iron and running gets us ready for the "big games".
