The Theban Alphabet, is also widely known as the Witches
Alphabet.
Often credited as the creator of the Theban is legendary
magus Honorius of Thebas, hence the other name that it is known as Runes of Honorius, but there is no factual
evidence that it was Honorius who actually created it and it is not a runic alphabet.
It has been in use for centuries as a cipher to
protect magickal works from prying eyes, and for inscription upon amulets and charms.
