DEATH:
Mamerto,Sr was executed with 20 other prisoners by the Spanish authorities to retaliate for Gen Mariano Llanera's attack of San Isidro(battle known as Cry of Nueva Ecija,(9/2/1896);after his death four of his sons (Mamerto,Benito,Salvador & Joaquin) joined the revolution against Spain.

Benito participated in Battle of Bagbag.He was exiled with Gen Emilio Aguinaldo in Hongkong on 12/31/1897.In 1909 he was the gov. of the Nationalista Party in Nueva Ecija.He was also the Primer Vice president of the Veterans Association of the Revolution(Pres. was Gen Emilio Aguinaldo.
