SCOTT STEINER
Strengths -

PHYSICALITY. Just look at that body! No one comes close to matching his physique and power - and he knows it - but he also has speedand some aerial ability. He's so talented, he's downright frightening.

EXPERIENCE. A young veteran, Steiner has already sported singles and tag team titles everywhere he's appeared. Championships, especially frequent ones, breed confidence.

THE FEAR FACTOR. Everyone knows he could go off at any moment. Referees hate him, but so do his opponents. Easily one of the most feared men in WCW.

Weaknesses -

EGO IN THE EXTREME. Suddenly, he's more in love with himself than anyone in wrestling history. He's a stud, he's a body beautiful, he's the worlds greatest this or that ... he's also annoying opponents into not only wanting to defeat him, but hurt him. He's also luicky he's not in jail following his sordid actions against Kimberly of the Nitro Girls, Diamond Dallas Page, and Buff Bagwell's mother, Judy, not to mention several referees.

UNTRUSTWORTHY. Turned against his brother, Rick, then against his next partner, Buff Bagwell. Suddenly, Rick's his best buddy again. Oh really?

ABSOLUTELY INSANE. We mean this. There are moments when Big Poppa Pump becomes as crazed as any competitor in history. Our list of WCW's all time top lunatics: Abdullah the Butcher, Eddie Gilbert, Kevin Sullivan, Scott Steiner, Hollywood Hogan, Brian Pillman, Terry Funk, Big Van Vader, Kamala, Avalanche. Think about it.

The Future -

Uncontrolable and unrivaled, Scott Steiner seems rejuvinated following his unexpected reunion with his older brother, Rick. It seems academic this fearsome duo will regain the WCW World Tag Team Championship, but what of Scott, the current U.S. titleholder? Most people want to run when they see him coming, but if they slowed down to look past his evil tactics and his brash personality, they'd see a wrestler as powerful and purely talented as any in the sport's history. Unlike most grapplers, Steiner has never suffered a lengthy losing streak or even a mini-slump. He's been a superstar from the moment he entered WCW, and if he forgot about being Big Poppa Pump and concentrated more on being the best he could be, there is no cap to his future. But with is ego-driven style, we doubt he could ever be a World singles champion - but that won't prevent him from dominating WCW well into the next decade.

BUFF THE STUFF BAGWELL
Strengths -

DETERMINED. Suddenly, the fans seem to be on his side, and that is fueling a new spirit in his style, howevertemporary. and his comeback from his serious neck injury was an inspiration to every competitor in WCW as well as fans all over the globe.

POWERFUL. A bit lost amongthe many WCW strongmen, but Buff didn't get that nickname just by looking good. Few competitors can match the strength in his arms, chest and legs.

DROPKICK MASTER. Bagwell's dropkicks are a throwback to the greatness of dropkicking masters of the past such as Antonio Rocca and Verne Gagne - and Bagwell's version of the drop kick might even be the best ever.

Weakness -

CONFUSING. He seems well balanced now, but his fakery following his neck injury, and then his attacks on Rick Steiner and others, will never be forgotten. Even now, Bagwell's a bit flakey, and no one seems to be able to get a handle on him.

TOO CHARISMATIC. Yes, that's a problem! As an actor, he's already appeared in hit television shows and action films. He's considered on eof the most handsome men in America, but could that lead to a lucrative career as a model or actor where he wouldn't have to lay his body on the line night after night?

LACK OS SINGLES SUCCESS. Even know, he's best known for his tag teams with the Patriot, Scotty riggs, and Scott Steiner. Needs to concentrate more on solo endeavors.

The Future -

As we approach the millenium, Marcus Alexander Bagwell's future seems blindingly bright. at this writing, he is entering what could be the most fruitful and profitable years of his carrer. Free of the oppressive influences of Scott Steiner and the nWo, Buff now has an opportunity to be know as a truly great solo competitor instead of simply a body beatiful or giggling loon. He's always had the talent, and in the years when he wrestled in small Georgia or Texas independant federations, he always dominated the competition. Now, with a wealth of experience, several tag titles, and a remarkable comeback from a serious injury under his belt, Bagwell has a chance to get serious and get into the WCW's elite. he's always had the talent. Now he just has to show the dedication.
