  • Photographic print mounted on a thin flat robin's egg blue colored card mount.
  • Dates to the 1850s or 1860s.
  • Image shows the view of Rome from the Piazza del Campidoglio on the Capatoline hill.
  • The central feature of the plaza is the ancient Roman equestrian statue of the emperor Marcus Aurelius.
