Success for Group Member

 SF Writers' Group member Cardinal Cox recently came runner-up in the City Council organised competition to find a poet for Peterborough on National Poetry Day, Thursday October 7th 1999.

Cardinal Cox has previously come third in a story-telling competition, was runner-up in last years Poet for Peterborough competition and was joint-first in a short story competition organised by the Arthur Machen Society. That tale, "The Windsor Bell Hath Struck Twelve", was published in the Spring 1999 edition of "Faunus", the Journal of The Friends of Arthur Machen.

He has had his poetry published in a number of publications, most recently in "A Ship to Nowhere", the War of the Worlds centenary celebration edition of "Handshake", "the Dark Fantasy Newsletter", "Dreamers on the Sea of Fate", and the Irish publication "Brobdingnagian Times"
