The PPC Stylophone is proving quite popular amongst sad gits like me, maybe one day on a airplane somewhere high above the Pacific, the cabin staff migt be entertained as some random ensemble of stressed executives start jamming away together on their PDA's. Of course the original Stylophone had no volume control or headphone jack and would be about as popular as smoking within the confines of a passenger aircraft. I did consider disabling the volume control whenever the Stylophone was running to make it truly authentic but this proved difficult and quite unnecessary as true Stylophone fan can turn the volume up to max then cover the speaker with their hand in true Rolf Harris style. If your PDA uses Microsoft Windows CE 4.2 or similar then download STYLO_1.ZIP, after unzipping, run the setup.exe and the appropriate image for your PDA's processor will be installed. (dont forget to dock it first). Until I update the setup program you should also download the updated sample files as well. They sound a lot better than the ones that come in the setup. If you an NEC900C or other ARM device without sufficient vertical pixels to display all the keys replace PPC_STYLO.EXE with the patch version. Loads of people asked , so I have added a PC version, just for you Adam.
STYLO_1.zip Download the virtual Stylophone for Pocket PC Updated Stylophone Samples Updated wave files Patch for NEC 900C replacement PPC_STYLO.EXE for NEC900C Download Stylophone for Windows PC This program should work on any Windows machine from 3.11 to XP. |
