The Men An Tol, where lucky pills receive their strength. One day whilst driving home along Hwy 280 in San Francisco enjoying the vista I noticed a police car behind me and began to panic about being stopped, it would have been most unlucky for me if I had of been stopped for reasons I'll not go into here but it occurred to me that if I had taken a lucky pill that morning that guaranteed the cops wouldn't hassle me, a bit like an insect repellent the I would be reacting differently, less nervously perhaps, an effect that would reduce my chances of arousing the cop's suspicions from my uptight body language. Simply by imagining such pills, and that it was three of these that I had taken earlier instead of mothers, little helpers!. It might sound fantastic but it really does work, one day when I ever get time I will post a few of the fantastic letters I get from people all around the world who use my lucky pills regularly. Take Rupert for instance in Connecticut (oh please do!) when he called the other day to complain about all the bad luck he was having after taking the pills every day religiously for three weeks. It was so lucky that he did call because it let me explain that lucky pills work by lessening the probability of any bad stuff happening. When he explained the various sordid details of this run of bad luck to me I was able to point out to him quite quickly just how much worse each of these pitiful tales of woe might have been if he had not been taking the pills. Anyway the phone seemed to cut out then just before I had a chance to say something important. If you know Rupert please let him know I strongly recommended he continue taking them. Although simple chalk placebos might very well perform as well as Lucky Pills I firmly believe that it is the tiny crystals of salt which I form by evaporating small amounts of salt water that are specially collected from the sea at Land's End and placed into bone china dishes placed inside the centre stone of a magical ancient monument located in Madron and called the Men An Tol. This task I perform every few months whenever the Moon the Tide and the air temperature are favourable.
