Reinstall the Volume Control Icon (Win98) ---

If you have inadvertantly lost your volume control icon 
from the task bar, you may reinstall it by going to 
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Multimedia and Check off the 
block ON [X] that says SHOW volume control on the taskbar. 
And Presto, the volume control icon will be back for you to 
use. Please keep in mind that all Multimedia software or 
Hardware may not support this option. In that case your sound 
board probably has a volume control wheel on it.
