Change/Add to Your Window's Sound(s) {Download "toilet.wav" from Our Computer Tech. site 1st, and SAVE to Desktop} (Don't Know how to SAVE = see - How To Save on OUR Computer Tec. Page) 1. Open Windows Explorer (Start, Programs, Windows Explorer) 2. Click on "+" @ left of "C" drive (in left pane of Window). 3. Click on "+" @ left of "Windows" folder. 4. Click on the "Media" folder. 4a. Uuuuu Ahhhhh! = See all the Windows Sounds 4b. (You don't ? = You don't have speakers/sound, do You?) 5. Let's add "Our Sounds" Folder. 5a. With "Media" Folder still Highlighted - Choose File, New, Folder. 6. In the Right Pane Window of Explorer Find - "New Folder". 6a. Right Click on "New Folder" and choose rename - then Type Our Sounds. 7. Reduce "Explorer" folder by clicking middle buuton @ top right of screen. 8. NOW you can ADD ANY .wav File to "Our Sounds". 8a. Find "toilet.wav" sound on your desktop & click/hold-on it and DRAG it to/ON the "Our Sounds" folder and then release = now you have that sound to use in you files. 9. Now Close Explorer Window. Done: ================================================================= Select different Windows Sounds A. Chose Start, Settings, Control Panel, Sounds. B. Click on any event; then scroll down (or use down arrow) too - Empty Recycle Bin. C. Press Preview's arrow button to Hear sound we're going to change. D. Now Click - Browse; Double click - "Our Sounds" then "toilet.wav". E. Now Click preview arrow button = Better Huh !? F. Finaly Click - Apply, then - OK; G. Test it out on Your Desktop and Empty Your Recycle Bin = YOUR Done !!!: You CAN store Sounds directly into Media but I keep the "Crazy Ones" in "Our Sounds" 1/20/2000 Any correction are ALLWAYS welcome.
