That fact, and the fact that our chief executive freely admits it, is simply chilling. It matters not one bit where in the political spectrum one is; our government spying on its own citizens is far more dangerous to the security of our republic than any terrorist organization. We fought this type of totalitarian nonsense during the Cold War. Now it rises again, but this time from within.
