Flame

The pain inside that burns

When you lose someone,

the flame burns more and more

Just as you thought it was dying down,

it burns like it never has before

Loosing a loved one hurts so bad,

people give you sympathy but all you do is act mad

People say life goes on,

but you can't let go

You feel the pain getting stronger and stronger as you grow,

but like the soul, you will feel free of the pain

You don't know but as soon as you know

The pain dies and the soul gains

Strength and courage is all you need,

trust others and for yourself believe

When a loved one is gone,

you are left on earth to be the one that is strong.
