The band practiced right next to the</div> <div> Missouri River and it came over the levy and</div> <div> flooded the bottom floor of the building. Luckily</div> <div> the band rehearsed upstairs,but the whole bottom</div> <div> floor was one big puddle of mudd. The name just stuck."~Paul Phillips</div> <bR> <div> 3. The band was the first signing by Fred Durst to his record label "Flawless."</div> <bR> <div> 4. Doug played on Vanilla Ice's "Hard to Swallow" album.</div> <bR> <div> 5. Wes is 29 years old, along with Greg. Doug is 30 and Paul is 26.</div> <bR> <div> 8. Paul used to be the front man of a Jacksonville, FL based punk-band "Happy Hour."
