We are proud to be associated with Dr. Tracy and happy to help her educate people about the potential danger of undergoing surgery while awake, but do to the chemical anesthesia, unable to move or signal anyone that you are fully aware are feeling and hearing everything.  This apparently occurs far more frequently than most people think.  Dr. Tracy has been a pioneer in developing awareness, equipment and techniques to help empower surgery patients.  She has appeared on T.V. and radio nationally and worldwide, including The Opera Winfrey Show, 20/20, Dateline, Leeza, Inside Edition, EXTRA, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, been featured in TIME magazine, U.S.News & World Report, People, Allure, Redbook, First For Women and many other appearances and featured articles.

Founder and President of Awareness with Anesthesia Research Education Group (A.W.A.R.E.), a non-profit foundation dedicated to patient education, research and therapy treatment in the area of awareness during anesthesia.  All donations to A.W.A.R.E. are tax deductible and can be sent to her foundation through the address listed below her piture.

Dr. Tracy speaks regularly at universities, schools of medicine, professional symposiums and conferences worldwide and has been honored by The American Association of Nurse Anesthetists ~ 2000 award for Public Interest in Anesthesia and named Distinguished Educator for the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
