Pretty Moppet is an immortal sorceress who shows up in  Sunnydale on what she refers to as a ‘vacation'.

She look to be 16 or 17 years old, but in actuality she's been kickin' around for  a little over 2500 years. She is a remorseless, cold hearted killer. But she can only be described as remorseless and cold hearted because she seems so normal, she likes movies and pizza and owns a microwave, but if someone makes one wrong move she'll tear them to pieces and think nothing of it. Nothing shocks her. She acts like she's seen it all, and well, if you think about it, is there anything that a 2500 year old sorceress could have missed? I mean, really?

She knew Angel back when he was in his ‘I am Angelus, King O' the badasses' days. He knew her as Medea. But there's something strange about this girl, Angel knows her face, he knows that they spent some time together way back when, but he can't fill in the rest, it's all blanks. He can't, for the life of him remember anything that they did together. And she gives him and the rest of the scooby gang the feeling that they did a lot. *Can you say carnage and blood reign?*
 She knows about Spike and Dru, whom she refers to as ‘the kids', she knows about Darla and The Master and (this is what I find really interesting) she knows about Ethan and Giles during their stints as demon worshiping, bacchanalia loving bad boys of the British underworld. *Can you say ‘I want to be your dog'?* In fact, Giles says that she was a part of their little cult, type swingers group for a while.
 
For both Angel and Giles, Medea is the link back to the worst parts of themselves. The darkest things within them that both they wish they forget. The things that, whether they like it or not, Medea is going to do everything possible to bring back out.
