Spike and Drusilla first appeared in all their celluloid glory on September 29, 1997. The baddest of the bad, and yet the most stable and loving couple on the show they are such complex and enjoyable characters that they have turned a good show into a GREAT one and now rule over their own little army of fanatic minions.
The brain children of our beloved Saint Joss (all bow) they have been
dubbed 'the Sid and Nancy of the vampire set', though I and quite
a few others see them as more of a Bonnie and Clyde deal . . . or a Billy
and Peri deal, but that's getting a little ridiculous already, don't you
think? The Deliciously Devious Duo (say that three times fast)
have breathed a new life into BTVS, giving it the edge it desperately needed
and turning one of my favourite Saturday night shows into the one show
of the week that I Absolutely Must Not Miss. But enough talk. You came
for Spike and Dru and Spike and Dru you shall have my friends . . .
