Laura's Chocolate Chip Treasure Cookies...
1 1/2 cup crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup
flour
2 tsp. fresh baking powder
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 stick of real butter (unsalted)
1 tsp. vanilla
1
can sweetened condensed milk, not evaporated
1 package semi sweet CHUNKY chocolate morsels (not the chips)
Half bag
of shredded coconut (original recipe calls for 1/3 cup, but we love coconut, so I pile it in)
One cup or two of roughly
chopped pecans
Mix dry ingredients in bowl, set aside. Blend together
butter, milk, vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Fold in the chunky chips, nuts and coconut.
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and drop generous mounds of cookie dough on baking pan. Bake at about 370 for 15-17
minutes. You do not want to over bake these. Bake until just touched with brown.
These cookies are great and stay chewy (unless you over
bake them!)
Enjoy...
