****HEAD GEAR MECHANIC of the Yggdrasil****
        (Note:  This job is partially shared with Demetrius, the head engineer of the
Yggdrasil.)

-Name:  No one can pronounce his given name, so they call him "Al"
-Age:  30
-Sex:  M
-Affliation:  The Yggdrasil (a nation of its own...)

-General Appearance:  Tall, bulky man of rather buff proportions.  Clean-cut
looks, square jaw, slicked back blond hair and small brown eyes.  Probably
considered pretty handsome by some females.

-Voice:  Deep rumbling baritone that emits from his chest rather than his
throat, slurred by an Aquavy accent.

-Dress/Attire/Jewelry/Weapons/etc:  Dressed in the typical attire of a
mechanic, but the uniform isn't as greasy or oily as it should be, due to Al's
constant upkeep on hygiene.  A heavy belt of tools is around his thick waist,
and his feet are covered with thick soled boots and his hands with heavy
working gloves.  A bandanna is wrapped around his hair to keep it from getting
dirty, a pair of goggles around his neck.

-Personality:  A perfect gentleman of proper speech, always polite and
deferring.  He's a real charmer with the women, and pretty talented with the
Gears too.  A little conceited about his looks at times, but nothing fussy or
overbearingly irritating.  Tough as a boar, sweet as a bunny, this one.

-Background:  From a middle-class merchant family in the Aquavy isles, Al
never expected to become a Gear repairer, much less one working for a bunch of
crazed pirate thieves.  But his taste for Gears started as a hobby, something
his father had gotten him on, and then evolved into a full-fledged obsession.
Despite his family's reprimands, Al continued to devote his time to Gear-
repairing part-time on the Thames, instead of attending to his family's
business.  He was then disowned by his family, which served him fine, for then
he was hired in full by the Thames.  However, repairing the diving 'bots of
the Thames grew tedious after a while, and Al left to search out new game.
While in Dazil, he heard Rivian complaining loudly (while drunk) about his
Gears always in constant need of repair.  Al then approached Rivian, who
managed to choke out an agreement before passing out.  
Thus, Yggdrasil earned herself a Gear
mechanic.
